General

What is Soccer Manager Online?
Soccer Manager Online is a web-based platform to create, manage and display football tournaments of any size. You can organise group stages and knockout rounds, manage fixtures, standings, tiebreakers, and share everything with players, parents and fans.
Is the service free to use?
Yes. Creating and managing tournaments is free. In the future we may introduce optional premium features, but the core tournament management tools are planned to remain free.
Do I need to install anything?
No installation is required. Soccer Manager Online runs directly in your browser on desktop, laptop, tablet and mobile.

Tournament Management

How do I create a new tournament?
After registering and logging in, go to your dashboard and click “Create Tournament”. Fill in the basic information such as country, region, city, type of tournament, and number of teams. The system will guide you through groups and phases step by step.
Can I manage group stages and knockout phases?
Yes. You can create group stages and then move teams into knockout phases such as quarter-finals, semi-finals and finals. The system supports single-leg and home-and-away formats, as configured in your tournament.
How are standings calculated?

Standings are generated automatically every time you update scores. By default, the system uses:

  • points
  • goal difference
  • goals scored
  • direct matches (head-to-head)
  • additional rules such as fair play (if active)

The tiebreak logic is handled by the system, so you don’t need to recalculate anything manually.

Can I add or remove teams after creating the tournament?
You can freely add, edit or remove teams as long as no matches have been played. Once the first game has a result, structural changes (like changing the number of teams or groups) are limited to protect the integrity of the competition.

Matches & Fixtures

Can I edit match scores after saving them?
Yes. As tournament manager you can correct or update scores at any moment, unless you have manually set the tournament as closed. Once closed, results are locked to prevent accidental changes.
Can the system generate all fixtures automatically?
Yes. After defining teams and groups, you can let the system automatically generate all fixtures for the group stage and for knockout rounds, based on your tournament settings.
Can I print the fixtures and standings?
Yes. Soccer Manager Online includes a dedicated Print View, optimised for A4. Fixtures and standings are compressed to reduce the number of pages, making it ideal for notice boards or tournament desks.

Public View & Sharing

How can I share my tournament with players and parents?
Every tournament has its own public page with fixtures, results and tables. You can share it via the direct URL, social media sharing buttons, or with the QR code generated by the system (perfect for posters or registration desks).
Are scores updated live on the public page?
As soon as you update a result in your manager area, the public page reflects the new score and the updated standings. There is no extra step required.

Account & Administration

Do I need an account to view tournaments?
No. Public tournaments can be viewed by anyone without logging in. An account is only required to create, edit or delete tournaments.
Can I delete a tournament and all its data?
Yes. From your dashboard you can delete a tournament you own. All related records (teams, groups, matches, standings) and attached media are removed from the system following our deletion rules.
Is there a SuperAdmin or global administration area?
Yes. There is a restricted SuperAdmin area used to monitor the platform, handle abuse or spam, and manage global settings. This area is not accessible to regular users.

Technical & Features

Is my data safe?
We take data protection seriously. User accounts and tournaments are stored securely and handled in line with EU and UK data protection principles. We also regularly review our infrastructure and backups.
Does the platform work on mobile devices?
Yes. Soccer Manager Online is fully responsive and has been tested on modern mobile browsers. You can manage your tournament directly from your phone or tablet.
Will you add more features in the future?
Yes. We are continuously improving the platform. Planned enhancements include: detailed match statistics, player profiles, more fair play options, advanced scheduling tools and possible API integrations.
Last updated: November 2025 – Features and rules may evolve as the platform grows.
